Want a soda with that food truck meal?
Well, depending on where you live determines what you can drink.
Boston’s food trucks fall under the guidelines that apply for vendors and those that sell on city property.
In an initiative to have kids eat healthier, drinks with greater than 1 gram of sugar per fluid ounce are not allowed per the City of Boston’s Healthy Beverages Standard.
The result is that no matter where a food truck is parked and an adult is ordering the drink, they still cannot have a soda!
