In 2011, Annmarie Mitchell was checking Craigslist for a car.
Instead, she bought an ice cream truck and a business was born.
KC Freeze is named for her sons, Kyler and Cole.
They help their mom serve between 20-50 varieties of ice cream flavors.
The 12 and 10 year olds deal with all aspects of this food truck business.
They know how to take orders, handle cash and dish up the sweet treats.
Ms. Mitchell notes she is proud that the truck provides a way for the family to be together.
Also, she hopes it will provide the boys with a “starter” job in their future.
