Folks may have noticed there was a change in food truck movement last April.
Sweeping changes were put forth when Mayor, Vincent Gray gave authority over food trucks to District Department of Transportation.
Aspects, such as the number of trucks, where they park , and for how long were some of the issues addressed.
Food truck locations would also be monitored.
Owners of food trucks were alarmed that their current locations would be curtailed, as well as some not being allowed at all.
The loss of jobs or, at least, wage reductions are real fears.
