When the call went out to help the seniors of San Diego to eat healthier, a food truck was found to be the solution.
Nutritious and low priced meals are made and driven to Vista and San Marcos, long time enclaves of the elderly.
Soups, sandwiches, chicken tacos and penne pasta are some of the foods on the menu.
After eating, there is always a senior activity to look forward to.
Hoping to reach at least 200 seniors in a 6 month period, they are already serving 182 folks in the first 5 weeks!
