Flour Power Food Truck

I was in Boca Raton on Saturday and I accidentally ran into the flour’s paradise!

Angel and David own this super trooper truck called Flour Power that brings you back to the 80’s and they are specialized in flour products.

I was amazed from discovering their British Fish & Chips, a very simple and at the same time very difficult dish… they rock it! The crust is crispy and light, not greasy at all and after the “crunch” there it is the fish, juicy and tender, melting in your mouth, not over seasoned so that you taste the real flavor of it.
David is from Chicago and he loves hot dogs: here it is the authentic Chicago-dog, spicy, sweet and salty but what really makes it shine is the bread: Angel makes and bakes it daily.

And then the sweet treat that makes the difference: the One and Only Maple Stout Candy Bacon Cup Cake. Personally I am not a fan of cupcakes because of the frosting, but this one I would never have enough! The frosting is mouth watering, almost silky in your mouth, and the bacon candy….genius…the smoky flavor match perfectly with the bitterness of the stout that the cupcake is made of.

Track down the Flour Power Food Truck and ask for the Carmelitas too:  lovely bites of oat crisp crust, chocolate chips, fresh pecans and homemade sea salt caramel baked all together, you can’t miss them…
