Food trucks and brick and mortar restaurants joined forces for a week.
It was sponsored by the DMV Food Truck Association.
(DMV stands for DC, Maryland and Virginia.)
A local restaurant met with a food truck and developed meals that highlighted both.
It’s well known that sometimes brick and mortar restaurants fear food trucks.
Loss of customers, and subsequent revenue, is the reason.
This is a great concept.
The food preparers hopefully gained a greater strength and understanding of each other.
The local “foodies” got to eat the results!
