Food truck operators and owners of brick and mortar restaurants have decided to work together in hopes of bringing more folks to part of downtown Kitchener.
Brick and mortar restaurants have had a particularly difficult time, as construction slowed traffic and sent patrons elsewhere.
These folks were further concerned that food truck operators would further divert their sales.
However, both groups decided to work together for the greater good of their downtown area.
Keenly interested in drawing folks back to this area, they decided to expand opportunities for food trucks downtown, on side streets and during the evening.
This conflict is prevalent in many cities. Let’s hope those involved read this and act positively upon it as well!
