Specialties include their Sloppy Seed, tomato tofu with avocado mayo, a Chia Tapioca Parfait and a Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie.
Yummy! Here’s a bit of trivia! The owner and chef is Jerry Hastey, mother of actress and longtime vegan, Jessica Chastain.
Second runner is V-Grits, out of Louisville, Kentucky.
This truck specializes in Southern style vegan food.
Out East, Gmonkey, based in Hartford, Connecticut operates only on biofuel from its own organic farm.
Shimmy Shack, a vegan truck based in Michigan came in fourth.
Finally, BBQ Revolution, is just like eating at a real Texas barbecue, minus the meat!
