Not just local drinks, but around the world.
Getting more popular in the United States, and already well liked in Asia, are coconut drinks.
These are served in glasses or in the actual nut.
Sometimes the meat of the nut is added, or sugar.
Pearl drinks originated in Taiwan and were thus named because the little balls of tapioca that float in the drink look like pearls.
The liquid portion can be anything from green tea, caramel flavored, or milk.
The tapioca can make the drink look a little different but devotees love it.
In the United States, the Turkish Taco Truck was the first food truck to be given a liquor license in New York.
