Well, sort of … Some Amish communities have “wedding wagons”.
It’s not unusual for 300-500 guests to be present at these weddings … and they do it without the use of electricity.
Meals are served at the home of the bride or sometimes a close friend of the family.
Wedding wagons provide an additional kitchen.
They are pulled by horses.
In these wagons are tables, benches, plates, utensils (both eating and cooking), pots and pans and propane stoves.
Where they are allowed, they are most welcomed as they travel from home to home.
