What’s really in a name?!
Well, the loss of a contract says one food truck vendor.
Garrett Blinn owns Houston’s Buttz Food Truck.
He states he lost out on a contract due to the name of his truck.
He was originally contacted by a member of Herod Elementary School to provide food for a school event.
Thereafter, he was contacted and told his services would not be needed.
About 300 folks were expected at this event.
He wrote on his Facebook site that he was told his truck would be offensive to non-pork eaters.
Buttz Food Truck specializes in chicken and pork entrees.
It has serviced other area schools in the past.
