Washington, D.C. has some of the best food truck regulations in the country.

Food trucks here mix and match culture and cuisine, a mini United Nations of food fare.

This is much to the chagrin of some brick and mortar restaurant owners.

They are looking for stricter regulations for these trucks.

Viewed as competition, restrictions range from hours to parking zone limitations.

Both sides see the value in revisiting licensing issues.

But, for very different reasons.

While one group looks at it to maintain control; food truck owners would like to liberalize the rules.
