Gretna, Louisiana is in full food truck mode.
They recently celebrated their Food Truck Fest 2015.
It was surely a success with over 1,400 people gathered to sample their fares.
Located in the center of Old Gretna, the celebration was widely advertised via social media.
Food trucks such as Diva Dawg, Frencheeze, and Ironside Waffles were among the highlights.
The food must have been good.
Entrees, snow cones, ice cream, and beer/wine provided a well rounded meal plan.
Temperatures rose to over 100 F. It was deemed such a success, it is hoped they have a second one at the end of the summer.
Proceeds for this food fest went towards the Gretna Economic Development Association as well as the Jefferson Parish Recreation Booster Club.
